What workshop management systems do you work with? +
We work with whatever system your workshop runs on. MechanicDesk is where our expertise runs deepest, but we support workshops across all major platforms.
On the accounting side, we work in both Xero and MYOB, whichever your business is set up on.
What if my books are a mess right now? +
That is exactly what our Bookkeeping Cleanup project is for. We do a one-off deep clean of your current accounting platform. Fix historical errors, reconcile open items, and get you to a clean starting point before ongoing bookkeeping begins.
Most workshops need some level of cleanup before we can run things properly. It is not unusual and nothing to worry about. We see it constantly.
What is the difference between Essential and Platinum? +
Essential covers full-service bookkeeping: reconciliation, coding, supplier statements, aged receivables, and flagging anything that does not look right. It keeps your books clean and accurate week to week.
Platinum adds hands-on workshop financial management on top of that. WIP reviews inside your WMS, job finalisation, chasing overdue accounts, following up suppliers for missing bills and credits, Capricorn tracking, AP file prep, and journal entries. If you want someone actively managing the financial side of your workshop, not just recording what happened, Platinum is the one.
Do you handle BAS and payroll? +
BAS preparation and payroll processing are available as separate add-ons. They are not included in Essential or Platinum by default because every workshop's requirements are different.
We scope these separately based on your needs so you are only paying for what actually applies to your business.
How quickly can you start? +
Most workshops are up and running within a week of the initial call. If a cleanup is needed first, we get that scoped and underway straight away so there is no sitting around waiting.
Is there a lock-in contract? +
No. All bookkeeping services are month-to-month unless otherwise agreed. We keep your business because we earn it, not because you are locked in.
